wow! Incredible video, i can tell you and your partner are well trained! Such balance and you make it look easy. Beautiful lesson in trust and letting go. And not to forget, you have to be relaxed to be able to do these exercises. Just started yoga a few weeks ago, don’t have this in mind when i do it, but lovely to see how you two work with yoga!

Thanks so much for your thoughtfilled comment Pieter! Yes we worked very hard. I had just been doing Acroyoga for 6 months when I started training with my partner for the performance. It was intense but well work it! We choreographed our piece too!
And it took me awhile to learn just what you stated…relax while keeping all muscles engaged. A bit of a tricky mind/body game to get a handle on. The trust took awhile as well. It was our first time working together. It was an awesome experience. Looking forward to the Spring performance and hopefully some in between.
      Enjoy your yoga journey.
      Signed,

My partner and I worked very well together. May have fallen once or twice during our two months of rehearsals.
      Thanks for watching!

  4. Very good indeed, Suzanne. It looks like that would keep you fit as a fiddle. But I couldn’t help noticing that hoop nearby and thinking he was going to try and kick a field goal with you. I’m glad he didn’t 🙂

That was amazingly impressive, Suzanne! I’m not sure whether I’m more stunned that you managed to remember all those various moves or that you were able to get your body to assume all those different postures and keep your balance. I believe with practice and adequate supervision I might just be able to stand on one leg. Seriously, that was very good. 🙂

My partner and I choreographed our routine.

I think you mentioned a few months ago that you might put the routine up on the site. It was nice to get a chance to see it. It sounds like the audience were very appreciative too. 🙂

Yes. It took them awhile to get the videos done. Each pair has their own video. As well as the aerial performers. It was an amazing show. And a mental and physical challenge to prepare for. Now I’m ready to do it all over again. : ). Thanks so much for watching.
I don’t know why hardly anyone has looked at this post. I really really wanted my blogger peeps to see it.

I’m not sure about the lack of views, Suzanne, but I’d guess the biggest single reason is just the timing of the post with so many people focusing on Christmas and New Year.

Also, you had a little break for a while, so it’ll probably take people a week or two to realize you’re back.

Once you’ve reestablished your regular posting routine again for a while, it might be a good idea to put the video up again. 🙂

Oh, I didn’t see this comment until I’d already said something about it on an earlier comment.

I may not be the best person to ask given that I’m pretty useless at promoting my own blog.

You might go round your followers’ blogs and leave comments to let everybody know you’re back again.

Another thing you might try is following the tag “yoga” in the WordPress reader, going to some of the bigger-looking blogs with the most followers, and writing comments on the most recent comment thread.

If your theme allows it, you could also make you yoga video a sticky post for a while so that your later posts appear underneath it.

I guess one last thing is to make the title as clear as possible. I remembered you saying something about your yoga performance a while back, so I knew what it was probably about, but people scan WordPress pages so quickly that others may have missed it. Perhaps something super clear such as “See My Yoga Performance” would make it pretty unambiguous.

Other than that, I’m not sure what else to suggest. I hope you do get some more views for it, though. You and your partner obviously put a lot into the performance. 🙂

You’re a swell guy Bun! I appreciate you.
The advice looks great. I’ll get to it (after I eat, meditate…). 🙂

Oh, you’re most welcome, Suzanne. I just hope one or two of the suggestions are useable. As for being a swell guy, I must admit I’m blushing. 🙂

It’s always nice to play a part in making others blush. Your blushing, and your humour, make me smile. :). You have a positive impact in the world through the written word and your consideration for others.
Have a sweet day. I think I’ll go on a walk now.
