Missing Her

“You said you remember how she kisses.”                                      I see the look on his face and suddenly wish I could take the words back.

His gaze falls to his shoes, then to the sidewalk.  Shoulders rise and fall with the slight hint of a sigh.  Looking up he resumes the slow pace, absorbed in that familiar discomfort.   The one that I have unintentionally aroused.
