What I Wanted

I wanted an attractive masseur.

I wanted a table for my tablet, for my writing.

I wanted a hot sweaty dance partner.

I wanted physical connection and comfort.

I wanted love.

I wanted to barter classes for tech services.

I wanted to feel part of a group, with my kind of people.

I wanted to live close to trails and trees.

I wanted to walk, to ride bikes, to get where I needed to go.

I wanted a room of my own. A room with a view.

I wanted to give myself permission

….to write

-in that very room,

for hours on end.

I wanted to not want.

I wanted to not cling.

I wanted to forgive, but not forget.

I wanted to feel vulnerable and still be accepted.

I wanted to slow down, to live a simpler life.

I wanted to walk down the path towards my true nature.

I wanted to tell you

What I wanted ~

the Universe provided.

With each clear intention

when the clinging subsided.
