Spring Morning Love

Comfortable red couch.

Soft blanket.

Open balcony door.

Gentle breeze…

Filtering in through my nostrils.

Touching my cheek…my arm.  My heart.

Two doves come to visit.

Perched on the ledge.

Husband and Wife.

Birdsong from the trees just beyond.

In the distance, the call of geese heading home.

 Then.  A gentle shower.

Gone just as quickly as it came.

My body,

At peace.

My heart,

In love

With life!
